One of the factors driving companies to grow is demand. One of the most advantageous sectors in this regard is the health sector. Among the companies in the health sector, Etkin Medical Devices Service Trade and Industry Co. Ltd; Turkey is among the fastest growing companies and is placed 77th with 109 % growth ratio.
Produces operating theater lights
The company was founded in 1996 by Hasan Huseyin Kara.Etkin Medical Devices, which Sadettin Erer is a company partner since 2005, which continues in the partnership with Hasan Hüseyin Kara, Gizem Kara and Ceren Kara. Company founder and General Manager Hasan Huseyin Kara, with a company producing an annual 200 surgical light says that exporting is the most important goal for 2014, while continuing their goal to produce what is not being produced in Turkey and being produced very little in the world, by the company.

What are the factors that draw your company to grow? What kind of production policy did you choose when growing?
Etkin Medical Devices, is aiming to make a difference in a changing and developing world, that is rapidly progressing with their innovative and productive team are on the way to becoming a world brand. The production line and the R & D department, which have solution based point of view to the world medical sector, especially in our country, is the most important dynamic that lead to the growth of Etkin Medical Devices.
Which criteria’s did you consider when you decide to grow?
The interest to be able to solve the needs in the world medical sector, especially in our country, and to increase the production of environment friendly products is one of the criteria’s considered when the growth decision was given. Market conditions are affecs the decision to grow. In particular, meetings with the Ministry of Health and technological developments in the world determine the direction of our R & D studies. Our efforts to produce products not manufactured and which are produced by a very few companies in the world in Turkey continues.
What are your company's future goals? Will you have new strategies and investments for growth is so what are they?
Our company aims to be a biomedical technology company operating at international scale. For this reason we are working to produce technology and continues to invest in R & D.
What is your recommendation to the companies that aims grow?
Making R & D investments in Turkey and abroad to the projects that have been superficial,
Do you receive any grant or interest-free credit support from your state for any of your work during or after your established?
Etkin Medical Devices empower itself with the support of "ETC Development Project" financed by Izmir Development Agency and the employment of qualified personnel given by KOSGEB, participation in domestic and foreign fair organizations and company promotion both in terms of materiality and being a brand. We have great expectations about the support given by the Ministry of Economy as Etkin Medical Devices will be representing our company at the worldwide prestigious fair Arab Health 2014. In addition, we have many projects supported by KOSGEB and TUBITAK which are realized by our R & D department. With these incentives, our R & D department continues to be more innovative.
Manufactured the first local LED operating light

Etkin Medical Devices began the production of LED operating lights in 2012, becoming Turkey's first LED operating light to do local R & D and production of operating lights.

2012 Production of surgical lamps with LED started.
2012 Çiğli Atatürk started factory investment in OSB.
2013 TUBITAK supported "Field Type LED based Surgical Operation Lamp Project" successfully.
2013 Sales teams and liaison offices were opened in Istanbul and Ankara in 2013.
