Etkin Medical Devices opened ETC Product Development Center in Dokuz Eylül University Technology Development Center.
Hasan Huseyin Kara, General Manager of Etkin Medical Devices, stated that the projects that will be realized in ETC Product Development Center, which they opened, aims to transform the Biomedical Technologies sector with products that accelerates the development of the sector and which make it easier for patients and their relatives and healthcare workers life easier.
Product Development Coordinator Ahmet Sönmez, stated that the cooperation they will carry out with Dokuz Eylül University and other İzmir universities will take important steps in product development. Projects carried out at the ETC Product Development Center in order to realize projects related to the operating room and radiology equipments will contribute to the accumulation of product development in Dokuz Eylül University, other İzmir universities and Turkey, as well as active Etkin Medical Devices itself.
Etkin Medical Devices Corporate Development Manager Barış Ünlü stated that the "LED Based Surgical Initiative and Diagnosis System" project, which was the first product development project of Etkin Medical Devices, was supported by TÜBİTAK SME R & D Start Program as an innovative project in 2009 and reminded TUBITAK's support for many innovative projects over the years.

Volunteer employees who donated blood got free a poetry book called “Yüreğimdeki Çizikler” written by Ercan Doğu. Ercan Doğu and Wall Publications have supported the blood donation campaign.
